Athletics: Dagenham 88s enjoy Dusk Til Dawn event

Runners ran the annual Sikhs in the City Dusk Til Dawn Challenge around Woodford.
Athletes ran 1.2-mile loops and Dagenhams’ Rosina and Peter Salmon both completed a total of 31 miles.
Timi and Sonya Veerasamy ran the 26.2-mile marathon distance in 5:15.51, while Leigh Moring clocked 5:17.39 on her debut as Emma O’Shea also took on the distance for the first time.
Lorraine Moor and Chrstine Lardner (2:43.59) ran the 13.1-mile half marathon distance with Lynne Northcott (2:55.59) and Carol Moring (3:08.59), as Abigail O’Shea made her debut.
Caroline and Ian Cummins headed to the Bovington Races in Dorset, with Ian completing a 27.5-mile race on Saturday around the training grounds of the Tank Museum in 6:59.39.
Caroline, pictured, ran a slightly longer than normal 16.5-mile half marathon race on Sunday, enjoying the challenge and camaraderie.
